Sad Passing of Horace of Finchley

As someone who has grown up in the North London and more specifically Finchley I would like to pay tribute to someone who can only be described as an iconic figure of the area. Horace had very little in life but over the past few days it is evident how much he was loved through the powers of social media.


Horace represented Finchley had a characteristic smile and his own trade mark phrase “the best of luck!” Whenever I was to have a bad day one look at Horaces trademark smile would put things into prospective. This was a man who had so little but was happier than many a man with a fortune in his bank account.
