This is how IKS Locksmiths manage the process of security safe installation;
Step 1: Site Survey
Primarily a site survey will be conducted. On this visit we will establish;
We ask the customer questions which can seem intrusive but are vital when it comes to choosing the right safe for the circumstances and the right location in the property.
We would need to know exactly what the customer plans to keep in the safe and the value it will hold. (Don’t worry we won’t be contacting the Inland Revenue if it is a substantial amount of cash!). Obviously, confidentiality is of the utmost importance. Safes come with a cash and valuables rating and it is important that the customer invests in the correct safe.

Step 2: Presenting the Options
Next we discuss the safe types and possible locations with the customer. A safe may be fitted to a concrete floor or joist on the ground or to an external wall. Wall safe installation may be preferable in some situations. Advising on the most suitable safe type and location is something that we are well qualified to offer advice on. It is important to get it right when it comes to investing in a safe.

Step 3: Provide a Quote
We send the client a competitive quote by email. On agreement of the quote suitable fitting dates are discussed.
Step 4: Agree a Fitting Date
A date for the installation of the safe to suit the customer is agreed. We will usually offer a morning or afternoon time slot for installing your safe.
Step 5: We Place the Order for the Safe
We take payment for the actual safe and place the order with the supplier. Lead times can vary depending on whether the particular model of safe is in stock. When safes are in stock order date to installation can be a quick as 48 hours.
Step 6: Safe Delivery and Installation
This is a job for professional specialist safe installers and not a job for the inexperienced. Our experts will install your safe to a high standard. Experience and knowledge are key when it comes to professional safe installation.
Step 7: Ensure the Property is Left Tidy
We thoroughly sweep and vacuum the area after fitting the safe. It is important that the customer is not inconvenienced. We have high standards when it comes to customer service.
Step 8: Checking the Customer is Happy
It is on completion and confirmation that the customer is happy that we take payment for the labour part of the job. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. As independent security specialists, our business relies on word of mouth and recommendations.
